About Us
Rib & the Bones is a female-fronted alternative-rock band based in Oneonta, NY! Formed by four SUNY Oneonta music students, Rib & the Bones is an energetic group dedicated to leaving audiences feeling great with their upbeat performances. With inspiration from bands like Peach Pit, Cage The Elephant, and The Strokes, the group has a unique sound that pairs emotive vocals with funky grooves and filthy guitar riffs. Currently in the process of releasing their first EP, Rib & the Bones is very excited to share their new original music!
TOURing
Last summer, the band went on its first tour! We traveled across New York State for ten days to share our music with new audiences, independently booking and managing the entire tour on our own. The tour became an incredible experience and provided us with a deep appreciation for life on the road is really like. We plan to release our EP this Spring and to continue touring to support it.
